WHAT’S NEW AT OUR PRACTICE


  • The Washington/ Frederick County Dental Hygientists' Association hosted a lecture by Dr. Snyder last night.  The topic of the lecture was "Managing Recession and Root Sensitivity- Multiple Strategies with a Periodontal Emphasis". (May 14, 2010)
  •  FPA has the new IPad...Be sure to take advantage of this new gadget the next time you're in our waiting room!

 

  •  In support of the recent crisis in Haiti, FPA is donating dental instruments and supplies to the IC Haiti Fund.  Dr. Snyder is sending the items with his personal friend, Dr. Richard Cohen, who will be giving his time to those effected by the crisis during the month of March. (January 27, 2010)

 

 

 


  • FPA now offers its patients the opportunity to surf the web on personal laptops, while waiting for their appointments or to be seen by the doctors.  So make the most of your time in our office, and make sure to request one the next time you visit with us! (January 7, 2010)

 

 

  • In the spirit of the holiday season, FPA wanted to give back to the community.  As a gift to a solider serving overseas, we sent a care package filled with lots of goodies.  The recipient was Sergeant Jeffrey Wade. (December 7, 2009)


  • Dr. John Golski has joined the team of Frederick Periodontal Associates.  We are very happy and excited to have him practicing with us! (December 1, 2009)

 

  • In our continued effort to be kind to Mother Nature, we've recently implemented electronic signature pads.  Now, credit card receipts, consent forms, and treatment plans are signed electronically;thus, reducing 70% of our paper use through-out the office. (November 9, 2009)


  • On October 20, 2009, Dr. Snyder gave a lecture entitled Managing Recession and Root Sensitivity- Multiple Strategies with a Periodontal Emphasis to 50 members of the Hanover/ Gettysburg Dental Society.


  • Dr. Snyder was recently invited to be a guest lecturer at the 52nd Annual European Dental Conference in Garmisch, Germany during the week of October 6th-10th, 2008.  Dr. Snyder presented over eight hours of material covering many aspects of Periodontics.
