MEET THE STAFF OF FPA
OUR TEAM AT THE FRONT DESK:
Linda Aguado operates as Frederick Periodontal's Scheduling Coordinator and has over 25 years of experience in the dental field. She obtained a dental assisting certificate from Frederick Community College, and began her career as a dental assistant. She now focuses her expertise on the administrative aspect of our practice. Linda will always greet you with a smile, and she looks forward to welcoming you to our practice.
Amanda Anzalone functions as the Marketing Coordinator for FPA. She has a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She manages and carries out all the advertising and marketing efforts conducted by the practice.
Kathleen Faron is FPA’s Insurance Specialist. She has over 25 years of experience in Dental Administration, working for practices in both Frederick and Montgomery County. She handles the insurance needs of our patients and the practice. She loves the challenge of working with the insurance companies and helping the patients to understand and utilize their insurance benefits to the fullest.
Sarah McWhorter works as Frederick Periodontal’s Office Manager. It is her responsibility to make your visit with us as comfortable as possible. She possesses six years of experience as a dental hygienist. Sarah uses her vast dental knowledge to guide our patients through various treatments by answering any questions that they may have.
OUR CARE GIVERS:
Deanna Driscoll, C.D.A./Q.D.A, joins the Frederick Periodontal team with 20 years of experience. Dea, a member of the American Dental Assistants Association, is our surgical assistant and a graduate of Allegany College. She is a National Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), a Maryland Qualified Dental Assistant (QDA-Expanded Functions), and a licensed Maryland Radiologic Technician with CPR and OSHA certifications. Her role is to assist the doctors in making your experience at our office as comfortable as possible. Her expert knowledge of adjunct dental procedures, such as x-rays and impressions, will make you feel relaxed and at ease.
Carolyn Hauver, R.D.H., is one of our Periodontal Hygienists and a graduate of Allegany College of Maryland. She brings with her over 30 years of experience in the dental field. Carolyn is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’’ Association (ADHA), the Maryland Dental Hygienists’ Association (MDHA), and the Washington/ Frederick County Hygienists’ Association (WFCHA). Carolyn’s enthusiasm and dedication to patient care awaits you.
Raychene Michaels, R.D.H., is one of our Periodontal Hygienists, and she comes to us with over 29 years of experience. Raychene is an active member of the State Dental Hygienist Professional Association (DHPA), the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA), the Maryland Dental Hygienists’ Association (MDHA), and she also serves as a committee officer for the National DHPA. Mrs. Michaels not only wants you to walk away from her chair with a cleaner and brighter smile, but she hopes to teach you better ways in which to prevent periodontal diseases. Raychene’s gentle hands promise to make your visit to Frederick Periodontal extremely pleasant and relaxing.
Patricia Topping, D.A., is one of our Dental Assistants. Patty started her career with us as an intern from Kaplan University. She recieved her Dental Assistant Certificate from Kaplan University in June 2010, and she is certified by the state of Maryland as a Radiologic Technician. In addition to this, she is certified in CPR. Patty's sweet and enthusiastic demeanor awaits you.
Christine Wade, R.D.H., is one of our Periodontal Hygienists who comes to our team with 20 years of experience. Her focus is on preventive treatment as well as educating you on how a healthy life style can improve your oral health. She is always happy to share with our patients her extensive knowledge of the systemic links to periodontal disease. Her bubbly personality keeps you energetic and cheerful, and she will surely fill your visit with smiles.
